CATERING FRANCHISE

Applications are invited for a suitably qualified caterer to enter into a franchise agreement to provide the catering services at St Annes Old Links Golf Club. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and pro-active candidate(s), ideally with a proven track record of managing Club catering.

St Annes Old Links Golf Club is a private member’s club, established in 1901, situated in Lancashire in a coastal setting within easy reach of Lytham, Blackpool and Preston. Our venue is a regular host of national golf events including Final Qualifying for the Open Championship, as well as numerous well attended Open Competitions annually. We are an all year-round golf club, with a course that copes extremely well in occasions of poor weather. There are many Club Competitions and several social events in our calendar each year with our thriving membership.

The Club has over 700 members and recently obtained a Public License, so scope is available for attracting new business. The Clubhouse has a large upstairs lounge and dining room with panoramic views over the Golf Course and capacity for approximately 100 covers for dining.

Previous Golf Club catering experience would be an advantage, but more importantly, the successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver an excellent and varied dining experience for both the members and visitors alike, ranging from bar snacks to large dinners and functions.

Instead of offering a set structure for the franchisee, we are inviting applicants to propose how they see the relationship working, to ensure a mutual benefit for both parties.

Candidates should apply in writing by post or email, submitting a covering letter and proposal along with details of all relevant experience and an up to date CV to: Secretary, St Annes Old Links Golf Club, Highbury Road East, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, FY8 2LD Or Email: secretary@stannesoldlinks.com
