Delamere Forest Golf Club, in the heart of rural Cheshire, are currently seeking a catering services provider to take charge of the day-to-day catering requirements of our circa 500 members, as well as their guest’s and visitors to the clubhouse. The successful applicant will have: -

 

* Proven experience within the Hospitality sector (5-7 years minimum) with a proven track record of designing and developing menus aligned to customer needs.

 

* Knowledge and understanding of all legislation impacting on the catering provision - COSHH, Food Safety, EHO, health & safety and hygiene regulations.

Workington Golf Club was established in 1893, designed by James Braid it is regarded as one of the leading parkland golf courses in Cumbria. We are looking to appoint, ideally, a couple or an ambitious individual to be the self-employed franchisee/s providing catering services within the golf club. Services that we provide to our members, guests, visitors, and the public are:

 

* Weekly Sunday Lunches/Carvery.

* Society and visiting party catering packages.

* Evening meals – 4/5 nights per week.

* Scratch, Ladies, Juniors, and Seniors team meals.

As a couple, one of you must be an experienced chef as you will be responsible for providing fresh, home cooked meals to suit all aspects of our varied clientele.  The other will be responsible for managing the front of house operation. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ experience within a busy restaurant environment and will have a good understanding of running your own business.  You must be driven, ambitious, hardworking, reliable, and fully committed.

 

As an Individual, you will ideally have the experience of a chef and control the catering operation from the kitchen. You will require your own staff to support the kitchen and the front of house/restaurant operation, assisted by the Bar Manager and the golf clubs bar staff. Equally to be personally driven to provide leadership, training and support to all aspects of the food and hospitality operation.

* Demonstrate that they are constructive and work effectively with key personnel employed by the club, including but not limited to The General Manager, Bar Manager, Club Captains and Chairman. 

* Agree to appropriate opening hours which will vary with seasonality of the business. Be flexible enough to extend/amend opening hours when needed for scheduled events.

* Provide evidence of suitable hospitality qualifications, Food Handling certificates and a working understanding of Environmental health recording systems and requirements.

* Provide adequate staffing levels to ensure a professional standard of service on every occasion. Ensure that stock levels are adequate for events and the menus advertised.

* Have and provide current copies of both Public and Employers liability insurance.

* Ensure that the kitchen area and its environs fully comply with all current Food Hygiene legislation, Health and Safety, COSHH, Manual handling, Food safety and Environmental regulations. 

* But most of all demonstrate experience and a proven record/history in the management and daily operations within a food and hospitality environment.

Ideally a professional couple or outstanding individual that can provide a high standard of bar and food service to not only our current members but also the many visitors that visit the club each year. You will be responsible for all aspects of the F&B operation including front of house service, recruitment and retention of staff supported by our Elected House & Bar Associate.

Willesley Park Golf Club is a private member’s golf club situated at Junction 12 of the A42 just outside Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire.

 

The club is over 100 years old with an active membership of 700 + golfers. Winding its way through 230 acres of gentle undulating Leicestershire countryside, Willesley Park is one of the midlands premier golfing venues.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic service led caterer to enter into an agreement to provide a catering service for the club and its members.  The club hosts visitors, societies, and a number of team matches throughout the year. The club facilities benefit from a modern fully equipped commercial kitchen including rationale oven. Additionally, the club is a popular venue for a number of social events birthdays, wakes and formal dinners. There is also potential for attracting new and local business.

 

The clubhouse has a large lounge and a dining room that can cater for up to 120 guests.  Additionally, there is outside seating for 25.

 

The successful candidate(s) will:

* Be passionate about food and customer service.

* Have a desire to grow their catering business.

* Develop all standard menus plus bespoke menus to cater for a broad range of events from buffets, bar meals to fine dining.

* Provide quality home cooked food with high standards of presentation and service that offer value  for money.

* Be expected to improve our catering reputation by providing new dining experiences and showing creativity in new menus.
