We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced caterer to join our team. To ensure we get the right person for the service levels we require, we are willing to offer the right candidate either a franchise arrangement or a contracted management role within the Club covering all catering operations. Founded in 1897, our well-established golf course is set in 127 acres of rolling moorland with stunning views stretching from the South Lakes to North Wales. Chorley Golf Club has developed a reputation for being one of the finest golf courses in the area and recent improvements to both the course and clubhouse have further enhanced our standing. The aim is to provide members, guests and visitors alike with the best possible all-round golfing experience.
Over the last three years the dynamic has changed; supplementing excellent member services with a push towards an events-based business with a proven track record. The downstairs bar has dining for 70 with the upstairs function suite catering for 120 covers. A private dining room has 40 covers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the catering operation including front of house service, recruitment and retention of staff. They will also be responsible for complying with health and safety regulations and demonstrate relevant food hygiene and professional standards. The operation will provide catering seven days per week covering everything from daily bar snacks to all Club & private functions and dining events.
Applicants must hold relevant Food Hygiene qualifications, be responsible for complying with health and safety regulations, have experience in providing a high standard of restaurant service and be able to demonstrate an aptitude and drive to develop the business further.
All major operational equipment is purchased and maintained by the Club. Current and projected catering turnover per year is six figures with the potential for this to increase further working in partnership with the Club. There will be no service fee charge applied and all utility costs will be covered by the Club.
We have a full public licence which we wish to utilise by increasing the number of non- member events increasing foot fall which would be beneficial to both the Club and Caterer.
The successful candidate will need to work closely with the Club Manager, Bar Manager and their team, who are employed by the Club.

Fulford Heath Golf Club is offering an exciting opportunity to join the team as our new franchise catering partner. The Club now seeks expressions of interest from suitable individuals or organisations who believe they could enhance our offer and take the Club’s food services to the next level.
With well over 700 members and a recent refurbishment of the clubhouse, the club is looking for the successful candidate to provide a full range of food options, from snacks and meals to buffets and more formal dining. The club would also like the following for the membership:

The successful applicant must:
* Demonstrate experience of a successful history in food and hospitality operations.
* Provide a food offering to cover all possible daily requirements of member’s needs and external events such as parties and other celebrations.
* Agree to appropriate trading hours which will vary with the seasonality of the business and be flexible enough to extend hours as and when needed for scheduled events.
* Hold adequate stock levels and provide staffing levels which ensure the standard of service expected.
* Evidence suitable qualifications regarding Food Handling/Hygiene and all other aspects of regulatory compliance.
* Demonstrate that they can work effectively with key personnel at the Club, including but not limited to, The Club Manager, Chairman, Club Captain, existing staff and other Directors.
