Evesham Golf Club is a private members club, established in 1894, situated in the heart of the Vale of Evesham alongside the River Avon.

 

We host a variety of Club Competitions alongside Inter Club fixtures and Open competitions.  We are an all year round course that copes extremely well in poor weather conditions.

 

We have around 300 members and host a variety of social events throughout the year.  The Clubhouse is recently refurbished along with the Bar and our catering facilities has capacity for 60 covers.

 

Previous golf club catering would be an advantage, but more importantly, the successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver an excellent and varied dining experience for both the Members and visitors.

Ely City Golf Club is a private members golf club close to the centre of the flourishing town of Ely City in Cambridgeshire. The golf Course is a par 72 6537 yards off the white tees. Henry Cotton designed parkland course with stunning views of the famous cathedral. Bristol & Clifton Golf Club is currently looking to appoint an experienced Clubhouse Manager to run the Clubhouse & Bar operation and work alongside the Catering team within this prestigious, private member’s golf club. Facilities include two adjoining Bars and  a Lounge and Dining area providing food and drinks to members and guests throughout the day We also cater for numerous matches, functions and member events.

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working individual who has the ability to work with and lead other clubhouse staff. The successful applicant will report directly to the Club Manager and will be expected to deliver exceptional service to both Club members and visitors alike.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to increase your experience within a quality golf club and continue to develop a reputation for excellent service.

 

* The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of all Food & Beverage operations and experience within a golf club environment is advantageous

* Strong team principles are essential as the successful applicant will be required to work closely with the Head Chef and the various departments of the club

* Candidates should be able to demonstrate where they have had a positive impact on the financial side of a business

* Knowledge and a good understanding of financial measures and controls, hygiene and health & safety procedures are essential

* The role will involve development of staff and instilling high customer service standards.

* Strong leadership and organisational skills are required.

Spalding Golf Club is a Private Members’ Club located in South Lincolnshire. With over 750 members making full use of the clubhouse, the Club’s catering operation is of significant value to the continued growth and security of the Club. The Club is 112 years old and offers many variations of catering and social events ranging from the small golf societies to large member’s social functions. The Club is looking for a caterer to keep the profile of its F&B to the match high standard of the Course in order to maintain our great reputation.

 

Following the retirement of our Steward of 31 years, we are seeking a forward thinking and self-motivated caterer looking to work with us to develop the tremendous potential of the Golf Club with the catering service.

 

Ideally, the successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

 

* A proven track record in catering services, preferably but not essential, at a member’s club or successful restaurant

* The ability to create and deliver a consistently high standard of catering

* Excellent communication skills, high focus on customer service and the ability to respond positively to challenges

* The ability to prepare food ranging from snack menus to Sunday lunches, functions and events

* Flexibility in the hours of service with a professional approach

* Knowledge of Health and Safety and food hygiene evidence

To liaise with the Clubhouse Manager, bar staff and communicate with all departments of the golf club to ensure a good level of service to the golf club

 

The Club has a well equipped kitchen and a good sized Lounge and Dining Room.

It would be beneficial to have an understanding of a golf club environment; however, this is not essential.

 

PACKAGE:

This could be a self-employed or an employed position.

 

A two bedroomed bungalow on site could be included as part of the package.
