Past Lady Captains March 2008

Swaffham Ladies Past captains got together on Friday 14th March for their annual lunch. It was a most enjoyable day with tales from the past and reminiscences of the golden years gone by. The Past Captain's welcomed Jacqui Allender , current Lady Captain, as their guest and wished her well for her year in office. It was also a day for us to celebrate Ilene Grammer's 50 years as a member of Swaffham Golf Club and we are looking forward to Phil Lewis celebrating her 90th birthday in July. Phil is an inspiration to us all - still regularly playing her 18 holes with us on Ladies day each week, and still able to teach us all a few things on the golf course.
