Stowmarket Golf Club

Golf News – Seniors

Stowmarket Golf Club has an ongoing thriving Senior section.

Stableford Competitions are held monthly, normally, when other fixtures allow, on the first Tuesday in the month. These are keenly contested by an entry of approximately 65 – 70 members each month.

In April we play our only medal round on the Senior Calendar, this is for the Charles Grayston Salver.

During the main playing season from March until October we play matches against other clubs in the County. These range from as far as Thorpeness on the coast, to Haverhill inland. We have a total of 37 matches including home and away against other clubs in 2011. We also play the Ladies (twice) and the Juniors once.
