The Captains' Message

Bob BelamyIts the start of my year as Captain of Peterborough Milton Golf Club, I am looking forward to meeting you all on the course and in the 19th to where we can share a glass of wine.

I would like to offer a warm welcome to all of our Visitors, Guests and Societies, you will find that we have a very friendly club, with excellent catering facilities and a well-stocked golf shop.

Our course is a delight to play with some very challenging holes, with distintive par 3's and the most challenging last 4 holes to address any course especially the 18th with its elevated Tee and lake down the right of the fairway.

If I am not there on the day of your visit, you will be well looked after by our secretary Andy Izod and our bar manager Richard Berry.

Again i would like to wish everybody a great golfing year for 2008.

FRENCH TRIP 2008

We have just returned from our French Trip of 2008, with 32 golfers there are many stories to be told, so i will not bore you all sleep with those. This trip was organised by Micheal Piggott and John MacCallum, with help from Andy Izod all in all a very successful trip, but a lot of traveling, but for some in the Richie Barrett car they had a very long trip of 4hrs to get to the Paris International course as their Sat Nav controller (Sav) put in wrong course so they had a sight seeing of Paris. Ian kerr retained his title of 2007 to become the 2008 Champion. Results 1st Ian kerr 2nd Paul Double 3rd Taffy Edwards 4th Andrew Abbott.
