The Clubhouse After a great round of golf at the Links you will be able to relax in the comfortable surroundings of the clubhouse - a traditional style clubhouse adorned with the names of past winners of the club's major competitions and some wonderful pictures of the course. As you reflect on where you lost those shots you will sample the atmosphere of a club that is steeped in a rich history. There is a large bar area and a lounge that looks out on to course. An ample sized restaurant area is situated just off of the bar at the end of the lounge, and can be closed off for added privacy.
You will always get a warm friendly welcome from Club Steward Diane Nicholson. Diane has been with the club for five years Let them help you replenish and refresh yourself with a pint or two of the local brewery Greene King's IPA. Soft drinks and freshly made coffee and tea are also available. An extensive wine list is available for you to chose how best to compliment the culinary delights of caterer Dennis Fawkes. Dennis joined the club in January 2004. He has over 35 years experience in the catering industry. Managing hotels and banqueting suites, and was Catering & Conference Manager at Cambridge University for nearly 20 years. He has catered for the Royal family, Prime Ministers and many foreign dignitaries and various celebrities from the world of sport and show business. It is his aim to be able to provide everything and anything to members and visiting societies to compliment your days' golf. Whether it is a snack in the lounge or a full meal in the dining room, he is there to look after your needs. We have a regular Friday night Fish Supper and also Sunday Lunch Carvery, both of which are very popular with members and guest alike.
