Welcome to Great Yarmouth & Caister Golf Club

 

The Home of Bogey is a fine example of traditional links golf, laid out on predominantly sandy ground and famous for the quality and stability of the greens. Instituted in 1882 and as such the oldest club in Norfolk.

 

Although the club boasts a full programme of club and inter-club competitions, there are still sufficient times available for friendly golf on our ancient links. Each of the various sections - men, ladies and juniors - offer a full competition schedule. The men also have an active seniors section, which holds separate competitions and has matches against other clubs.

 

We hold Open competitions throughout the year and visitors and societies are always welcome.

 

The club has a full social scene including cabaret nights, family evenings, short mat bowls, cards, quiz nights and snooker. All are well attended. The dining facilities are excellent and offer a full range of menus to suit every occasion.

 

Our attached club Professional offers good teaching facilities for all.
