Feltwell Feltwell Golf Club

Welcome to Feltwell Golf Club

Prior to 1986, the Club existed on a temporary basis, its future being at the whim of the MOD. However, on purchasing the freehold at public auction, Feltwell Golf Club suddenly became a long-term option for development and fulfilment.

A series of medium and long-term objectives were established and included the removal of the concrete missile launch sites, the self-help renovation of derelict wooden buildings, vacated by the RAF in 1963, to provide basic clubhouse changing and social facilities, the employment of full-time professional staff and the upgrading of course machinery. These have been successfully implemented and, in conjunction with an ongoing programme of course improvements, have bought the Club to where it is today. A respected nine-hole course and a continuing ethos of maintaining affordable golf within the local community

Although the course is nine holes the second nine holes is played from different tee boxes to add variation to your round. All the greens are protected by a number of bunkers but there are no water hazards. The greens are fast and true and the fairways are lush. The wind plays a big part in any round of golf on a course that is best described as an inland links.

The new clubhouse at Feltwell Golf Club was open for business from the July 2002.

The old clubhouse an old RAF barrack style building will be demolished to herald the dawn of a new era at this progressive club. Come and play golf at Feltwell, you'll love it.
