SUCH GUESTS MUST BE A MEMBER OF ANOTHER CLUB AND HAVE A HANDICAP FROM THAT CLUB

DRESS CODE - from June 1st 2010
OBJECTIVE
The ‘Dress Code’ exists to ensure that the appearance of members, guests and visitors both on the course and in the clubhouse is not likely to offend others. A smart and clean appearance should be maintained at all times.
It is the responsibility of Club Members to ensure that their guests comply with this ‘Dress code’.
ACCEPTABLE ..........ON THE COURSE
Clothing specifically designed for golf.
Suitable golf shoes to be worn at all times.
Shirts with a collar.
Shirts - preferably be tucked into trousers or shorts.
Plus 2's & Plus 4’s may be tucked into socks
Shorts - tailored and knee length
3/4 length trousers acceptable for ladies
Short socks worn with shorts must be predominantly white, although ladies may wear
Colour co-ordinating socks
Knee length socks need not be white
ACCEPTABLE .....IN THE LOUNGE
Smart casual wear
Clean and tidy jeans (without holes)
Shorts – tailored and knee length
Summer footwear may be worn without socks
NOT ACCEPTABLE .........ON THE COURSE
Jeans
Tee shirts
Track suit tops or bottoms
Sports tops not designed for golf
Combat and cargo style trousers and shorts
Leggings
Caps worn back to front
Non tailored sports and beach shorts
NOT ACCEPTABLE....... IN THE LOUNGE

Entering the lounge in bare feet or in socks

RESTAURANT
Members and guests using the dining room on function nights should dress according to the code specified on the function notice.
Gentlemen using the dining room after club matches should wear a jacket and tie unless the Captain has granted specific relaxation of the code.
On all other evenings, smart casual wear complying with the Lounge Dress Code is acceptable.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE CODE
The Secretary and members of the G.M.C. have the authority to ask people to leave the Golf Club facilities if they are improperly dressed. They may object to any particular dress or presentation even though it may conform to the above requirements. The Golf Club Professional/assistant have the authority to refuse access to the course and the Bar Steward/staff have been instructed to refuse service in the clubhouse and request offenders leave the premises.
