Situated North West of Norwich the 9- hole course at Dereham is a good example of a getting the most out of a relatively small area. The golf challenge here is enhanced by 17 very different tee positions giving the feel of an 18-hole course.

The 5th hole which on the first nine is played from the men’s white tees at 437 yards, par 4, stroke index 1 whilst on the back nine it becomes the 14th, a par 5, 520 yards with a stroke index of 6. The course played as eighteen holes measures 6099 yards and is a challenge for all levels of competence.

Set in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside Dereham Golf Club is a well-manicured parkland course set in one of the warmest and sunniest districts of the UK.

A friendly and sociable members club with a thriving junior section it welcomes societies and visitors who wish to pay a green fee.

Dereham Golf Club

Dereham Golf Club can be found on the outskirts of the town on the B1146 to Fakenham and Holt.

The Club has been around since 1934 and has a small traditional style clubhouse which overlooks the first tee and the final green. There is a spacious lounge bar and a separate dining area where bar snacks and meals are available.

Our opinion, worth a visit whilst you are in the area Dereham is close to some of the best Norfolk courses at Sheringham, Royal Cromer and Royal West Norfolk
