The Pro's Shop

 

Andrew Hurley is the PGA Head Professional at Arkley Golf Club, and has been at the club since early 2005.

 

His in-depth knowledge of the game, gained playing at the highest level, and his coaching expertise, enable him to provide tailor-made tuition for all golfers – from beginners to the more advanced. His interest in sports psychology aims to help every golfer achieve a clearer understanding of the game.

 

Through Arkley Academy’s excellent teaching facilities, Andrew encourages junior groups, ladies’ groups and corporate golf.

 

When not on the practice ground teaching, Andrew can be found in his well-stocked pro shop. He is a member of the Foremost buying group, which allows him to supply all major brands of equipment at very competitive prices. The shop supplies a wide range of golfing merchandise and is a major Cleveland and Ping stockist and Custom fit centre.

Members – £23 per half hour.

Practice Facilities

 

There is an excellent practice ground which includes covered bays, a practice green and bunkers. Major redevelopment is taking place in the practice area to provide two covered bays, five open tees and a four hole pitch and putt course. It is planned to be fully open in summer 2011. The putting green, chipping area and nets are located close to the clubhouse.
