The Clubhouse

There is always a warm welcome to members and guests in the Clubhouse. You can relax after a round of golf and enjoy the hospitality provided by your club Steward, Billy Ralph.

Billy is on hand to ensure that your pint reaches you in perfect condition. With a wide range to choose from why not start with everyone's favourite - Fullers' London Pride. If you prefer something a little less potent then try the Adnams. Both are cask conditioned and are always in superb shape. For you "smoothies" there is Worthington Creamflow and for the connoisseurs of lager there is the choice of Carlsberg or Stella. The draught products are rounded off with Guinness and Strongbow. There is also a wide selection of wines, spirits, and soft drinks to choose from.

Sunday lunches will be available on a trial basis throughout the winter. Please watch the Clubhouse noticeboard for details.

Thursday evening meals will continue throughout the winter months. We will be making some of these evening themed and it is hoped that we will continue on last years success. Watch the Clubhouse noticeboard for details.

Thursday Nights
It has become a tradition at Arkley that Thursday night is a social night. This means that not only can you go out and play golf in the afternoon, you can relax in the clubhouse afterwards and enjoy the company of other members and friends.

Food is served from 18:30 from an "a la carte" menu with plenty to choose from. All food is freshly prepared and you only have to ask around to hear what people say about it. It really is a treat! Thursdays also give some members the chance to introduce their husbands and wives to other members.

Booking is essential as space is limited. Please try to book one week in advance so that we have an idea of numbers. That way we can ensure you a great time. If you would like to see something that is not on the menu, let us know!

Social Nights
Our social functions at Arkley are becoming more popular than ever. Because of this, some Members are finding it difficult to book in in-time to get a table. St. Patrick's Night sold out within 3 days with 96 people attending. In future, we will be advertising when the sign-up sheets for social events will be displayed by means of a poster in the Clubhouse and on this website. We will not take any bookings before the advertised date but we will take bookings by telephone on the date and thereafter.
